A file is created with the same name as the tfm file with the `.tfm' extension removed, `ft' prepended and `.c' appended. .PP The .B -s flag causes the font(s) to be considered special. .PP .IR Otroff (1) scales the width of characters depending on the size currently in use. So, if a 5 point font is being used, the width is halved.
